The Design

Welcome to the Jungle Bathroom – a modern retreat we designed influenced by the Japandi interior style. Created with a laid-back and inviting vibe, this bathroom was a perfect solution for our South-West London clients: a lovely couple and their energetic 5-year-old who were keen on bringing nature right into their home.

Step into the space, where stylish concrete tiles perfectly embody the essence of Japandi. The centerpiece is a beautiful bath area, adorned with wooden slabs that create a warm and natural ambiance. The walls are graced with a forest-themed wallpaper, inviting in a lush green paradise.

For a touch of modern sophistication, we’ve added sleek black taps and shower fixtures that seamlessly blend in. The wooden vanity unit offers practical storage and also adds to the overall natural appeal.

To enhance the connection with nature, we’ve placed vibrant plants around the bath area. These green companions bring a breath of fresh air and contribute to a soothing and relaxing atmosphere, typical for Japandi. 

The Jungle Bathroom is designed as a place where a person can unwind, recharge, and relax: a captivating sanctuary that brings the essence of the outdoors to the heart of the home.

The Layout

The Jungle Bathroom was thoughtfully designed with a well-considered layout. As you enter the room, your attention is immediately drawn to the stunning bath area, which serves as the main feature. Its strategic placement ensures that it commands attention and sets the tone for the entire space.

The layout provides easy access to the vanity area, allowing for convenient and seamless transitions between different activities. Whether it’s getting ready for the day or winding down in the evening, the vanity area is conveniently located for practicality and functionality.

A privately located shower area is situated close to the bath area, ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience. This arrangement allows for privacy while maintaining a cohesive design flow.

One of the highlights of the Jungle Bathroom is the bath area, which benefits from an abundance of natural light streaming in through a large, inviting window. The direct sunlight creates a serene and refreshing atmosphere, enhancing the overall ambiance and providing a delightful bathing experience.
